Sound Engineering and Production I Class

Music First is partnering with Fox and Robyn Recording to bring our community an engineering and production education program starting this June. This program is geared towards the person who would like to work in the sound engineering and production field, and for the musician who would like to learn how to record themselves professionally. Those in this class will learn:

Foundational Audio
Signal Flow & Hardware
Mixing Console Architecture
System Engineering & Optimization
And much more…

Our six month program will be broken down into 12 classes. These classes will be virtual and in person. The virtual sessions will be via our partners at Google Classroom, where students will have access to their teacher, classroom notes, homework and exam results. Our in-person classes will happen at Fox and Robyn Recordings Studios. Our students will have the opportunity to put what they have learned into practice at some of our live events as well. All students who work events will be compensated for their time.
