Are you a venue that would like to have live music or have had live music in the past but it did not work out well? Music First can help. We offer consultations where in Music First and our team learn about your venue’s ideal event. What do we mean by “ideal event”? Well every venue has an idea of what they would like to see happen in their venue. Whether these events are weekly open mic nights or a monthly evenings with live acts or a complete vendor market with music, this is determined by what the venue would ideally like.

Music First is partnering with Fox and Robyn Recording to bring our community an engineering and production education program starting this June. This program is geared towards the person who would like to work in the sound engineering and production field, and for the musician who would like to learn how to record themselves professionally.  Those in this class will learn:

• Foundational Audio

• Signal Flow & Hardware

• Mixing Console Architecture

• System Engineering & Optimization

• And much more… 

Our six month program will be broken down into 12 classes.  These classes will be virtual and in person. The virtual sessions will be via our partners at Google Classroom, where students will have access to their teacher, classroom notes, homework and exam results.  Our in-person classes will happen at Fox and Robyn Recordings Studios.  Our students will have the opportunity to put what they have learned into practice at some of our live events as well. All students who work events will be compensated for their time.
