Music First Spring Festival Fundraiser

Join Music First as we raise money to secure a music venue in Downtown Longmont. We will have Live Music, Food and Drinks.

Come dance the night away with local favorites Whiskey Starship and the Nalani Effect featuring Adam and Regi Wooten with special guest Hazel Miller.

All Ticket proceeds will stay with Music First, a local nonprofit whose mission is to better the lives of musicians and the venues they play in. We offer assistance with mental health, health insurance, sound / PA, gigs and festivals, and education geared towards musicians.

March Member Meeting and Education Series

This months education series will be talking about the importance of tracking your bands analytics. This class will breakdown the the process used for tracking, and will teach you how to calculate analytics. This is the 2nd class of 3. Those staying for the class, please bring pen/pencil, calculator and note pad.

One Drum at Cheba Hut

This is Soulful Roots Reggae at its core. The grooves are a force to be heard and felt. The music is energized with words and melodies that flow over the heavy roots rhythms.

One Drum originally started in Connecticut in 2014, formed by brothers Bryan and Andrew Cirullo. Musical inspiration came from many styles & genres including Reggae & World Music. On their journey the brothers have performed at iconic music venues such as Shrine in Harlem, New York, Ashkenaz in Berkeley, California & Cervantes The Other Side in Denver, Colorado. They have opened for international acts such as Sleepy Wonder, Lee Scratch Perry & Israel Vibration.

The band was based in the San Francisco Bay Area from 2015-2017 before finally making way to Colorado. Shortly thereafter One Drum released their first EP titled Lionz Den. Over the next few years they have continued to reside and perform throughout the Rocky Mountain State. Most recently in 2023 the band has released their debut full length album titled 'Basic Needs.' The music is available at all digital outlets and platforms.

Joshua Bergmann at GrossenBart Brewery

Joshua Bergmann comes from an eclectic musical background with experience in genres from jazz to bluegrass and all things in between. Pursuing his passion for music from a young age, he is studied in classical composition and jazz guitar. Josh however, found his true love is rooted in playing the mandolin and guitar in folk, Americana and bluegrass. Through years of dedication he’s become an accomplished player, performing on major bluegrass festival stages and venues.

As a go-to player for the Southern California area, Joshua has been able to work with an array of amazing Americana and bluegrass bands. With his immaculate 1919 Gibson A-3 mandolin, he has also been a choice studio player for a variety of professional artists. Growing up and living in the talent rich town of Ojai Ca. Joshua has been in big demand and blessed to collaborate with some of the best in the business with their artistic endeavors. Joshua has also worked diligently to move forward with his own musical vision, developing his unique songwriting style, multi-instrumentation, and production skills. This resulted in his self-produced EP titled “Joshua Bergmann,” a record that has become a fan favorite.

A particularly noteworthy aspect of Joshua’s artistic perspective is his battle with Muscular Dystrophy. Losing major muscle groups in his upper body, Joshua has been forced to change his style of play and conquer challenges that few musicians have to face. These triumphs are important contributors to the artistic depth and unique style that makes Joshua such a profound artist.
