Nash Bash

  • Rialto Theater 228 East 4th Street Loveland, Colorado, 80537 United States (map)

Join Music First as we celebrate what kicked off everything for us, the Nash Bash.

The first time we held this event it was to honor an amazing musician, Eric Nash.  This time we will be celebrating one of his greatest loves, music.

Music First will be hosting our Songsmith Showdown competition, and in honor of Eric, we are doing a band edition. We will have 3 local bands competing for the audience's vote, prizes include $1,000 for the winner with more prizes being announced soon. Each competitor is PAID to compete and gets a portion of the ticket sales.

This year’s competitor’s
John Dillon and the Missing Mugshots
Pink Lady Monsters
The Buzz

Not only are we having 3 local acts perform, Shakedown Street will be closing out the night with us.
Come listen to music, dance and help Music First raise funds for our music programs.

Our Programs;

Act Management -
Music First offers musicians a management program where the act gets proper representation, no matter the follower count or how many tickets the act can sell.

The program is run by Moza, who not only gets musicians booked, but provides them guidance to get to the next level of their careers using the partnerships Music First has created.

Donate to this program to help lower the cost for an act to participate.

 Legal Protection for Musicians -

Music First provides legal aid through our Act Management program where we lower the cost of an act having to hire an attorney to pursue a venue.

Donate to this program to help a musician cover the cost of hiring a lawyer.

Adult Lesson Scholarship -

When Music First started one of our goals was to provide lessons to adults who wanted to learn any instrument.  We sadly had to stop this program due to some former directors, we then took some time to refine it. Music First now works directly with music instructors to fund lessons for adults.

Donate to this program  to cover lesson costs.

Music Abroad -

Music First provides funding for the music instructors we work with to travel to one of our partner schools and teach music lessons for a period.

Donate to this program to help teach music abroad.

Music First Podcast -

Music First is launching our own podcast where we will be discussing with musicians their ability to use sublimation (Sigmund Freud’s theory).  How they work through different emotions to create music.  And how they have taken something the world looks at as a weakness, and turned this vulnerability into a strength.

Donate to this program to help bring this project to life.

Music First Website -

Music First provides educational videos, a venue forum where musicians can safely talk about bad venues without repercussions, and a store where musicians can sell their music while keeping the majority of the profit. This website and forum cost $225.99 each month, and as we grow so does the cost of this website. Music First charges $10 a month to access our website benefits, we choose to keep our rates affordable to musicians.

Donate to this program to keep our dues to members lower.

Newsletter -

Music First has been working on a newsletter emailed each month to our followers.  We currently have two amazing writers on staff, Sam and Chad, who volunteer their time to write about the local music scene.

Donate to this program to help cover our newsletter costs and get our writers paid.
